I seriously have nothing to blog about. So I'll bore you with a short anecdote.

The other day I commented on a friend's Facebook status update. Said friend had just received a jury duty notice. I bragged that I'd gotten out of jury duty six years previous because of a new baby. I also noted that I'd probably cursed myself by admitting that.

Two days later I received my notice of jury duty in the mail.

I'm not superstitious. Even so, I'm not telling anyone how long it's been since I've given a talk at church.

Happy Easter

This weekend we had a fun time at Grandma and Papaw's house. It was sunny and warm, a completely beautiful Easter, I got in most of the General Conference sessions, got in a kayak ride, and I got to make fun of the New Moon movie. I had an awesome lunch of grilled chicken, potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs, black olives, and a slice of blueberry pie... I might have had another slice of pie, but it was all gone by the time my stomach digested enough food to make room for one more. Oh, well.
